Research Assistant – AR2807DO

The School of History is seeking to appoint to a position within the St Andrews Book History research group, assisting our current work to extend and improve coverage of the Universal Short Title Catalogue.  This is a full-time position, for a fixed term of two years, beginning on 1 September 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.  

 

The successful candidate will require experience working within the field of the history or literature of Continental Europe in the Early Modern period, and to have prior experience of working with early printed books.

In addition to the application form, candidates are asked to submit: a covering letter detailing how their previous experience qualifies them for the post; a CV including a list of publications; and the names of three referees.  

 

The application must not exceed a total of 10 pages of A4.
